According to a new analyze by Career Builder, one-quarter of businesses leverage social media to recruit and research potential employees. Twenty-nine % of companies with 500 or fewer employees are utilizing social networking in some way. And much more than half of leisure and hospitality organizations use social media to help promote their companies.

Report Shows Explosive Twitter Growth in Brazil, Indonesia a
comScore has just released a report on Twitter’s explosive growth worldwide. The comScore study found that in June 2010, about 93 million Internet users visited Twitter.com. This is an overall increase of 109 percent over last year.
