PUBLIC MARKS from decembre with tag licence

n the photography world, there are a small number of photographers I truly look up to. People whose work, worth ethic and general philosophy I’ve followed for years. And it is a very small list. Zack Arias is one of those photographers. So, I’ve probably given his thoughts more consideration on this matter than I would some random photographer on Facebook. And there are three main points. 1 - Free photography is going to ruin the career of hardworking photographers trying to earn a living 2 - The licences don’t go far enough to educate the users on what they can legally do with the images 3 - Unsplash is basically just an advertising front for Crew running off the backs of other creators working for free

Nous avons donc, avec le juriste de l’établissement, étudié les licences creative commons et introduit dans nos contrats la mise sous licence creative commons la plus restrictive (mention de paternité, pas de modification, pas d’utilisation commerciale) de l’intervention par son auteur. La Bpi n’est donc plus détentrice des droits - c’est l’intervenant qui les conserve – mais elle est son premier canal de diffusion, en creative commons. Cette licence nous semble parfaitement correspondre à notre mission de diffusion large et gratuite du savoir et les intervenants y sont, dans l’ensemble, très favorables. Grâce à ces licences, les fichiers audios ou vidéos peuvent donc être téléchargés librement et cités, par exemple dans des blogs.
