ParisPerdu aurait pu s'appeler ParisVolé car si souvent "cette certaine vision" de l'Est de Paris s'est définitivement évanouie, c'est qu'elle a été dérobée au regard par toutes les "avancées de la modernité".
Arpenter la ville à la recherche d'espaces promis à la démolition ou de personnes dont le destin va en être bouleversé : ce n'est pas pour regretter le passé. C'est pour montrer, nous montrer, nous rappeler, que la ville n'est pas une entité figée. La ville vit ... et comme tout être vivant, elle fait parfois des erreurs.
Ainsi va la ville, ainsi va la vie ...
