GNU/Linux reconnait directement votre carte graphique NVIDIA grâce au driver libre inclu dans votre distribution préférée. Hélàs, ce driver ne supporte pas la 3D. Pour pouvoir profiter de celle-ci vous pouvez installer le driver propriétaire fourni par le fabricant. Avec les distributions basés sur Debian ce driver est très facile à installer, pas la peine de télécharger le driver sur le site de NVIDIA. Ce dernier n'est pas aussi simple à installer que la méthode décrite ci-dessous

JLime Linux is open source linux disburtion for older HP hand held pc (palmtop) models.. JLime is tested with hp6xx and 7xx series and it is partially working with these models, it is still in development so more supported models wil be coming in future..
