Windows 8.1 Apps with XAML and C# Unleashed Book Review
As with Nathan's book WPF 4 Unleashed books, this book is a pure pleasure to read. It is in full color, the content is laid out in an easy to read style, the author's writing style makes it easy to read, and the content is all valuable. There is no fluff like you find in a lot of the books written today.

Programming Android: Java Programming for the New Generation of Mobile Devices Book Review
The Android environment is a complex one. At least I found it to be more complex than iOS and .NET. Without this book I would not have gotten very far.

Windows 8 : $40 : You'll get what you pay for…
I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to technology. I understand why Microsoft is selling upgrades to Windows 8 for $40, they won't have anyone upgrading to it.
