Pratiquant depuis longtemps d'arts martiaux, 5ème Dan de Batto-Do et cofondateur de l'école d'Escrime Japonaise, il étudie sous la direction de Bernard Durand (7ème Dan) et Kato Shinji (9ème Dan), il est aussi un grand expert et antiquaire en armes japonaises. Auteur de plusieurs livres : "Pratique de l'escrime japonaise" (seitei toho batto do) aux éditions CHIRON, "Le sabre japonais" (Nippon-to) aux éditions du Portail, "Les sabres shinto" aux éditions du Portail.
