New York Scratchmasters These are local New York Isseus from 1984 and 1985 with a lot of scratching during the mixes.

The idea to do a selection of "crimetunes" was always on top of our list. We thought of all the great themes for detective or crime movies and we got very enthusiastic! We were curious what kind of tunez we would get and which side of the law people would pick. The amount of participations was amazing! We got a plenty "killertuneZ" from known and unknown artists. Surprisingly this time: quite a few entries from Japan! Like always it wasnot easy to decide, which tunez to release... We listened to them at dark and lonely city nights... and this is our selection: microdisco vol 04 - CRIME A thrilling movie for your ears! Listen with your friends! Popcorn recommended ;) Enjoy!!!

Our friends from Da ! Heard It Records have another release up their sleeve. Released in November, Digi-Dig is a chiptune release done by Swedish Artist, Goto80. Goto80, if you have not heard of him before, is a rather prolific chiptune maker that has “made well over 1 000 songs released on record labels or for free in the demoscene and the web”.

Goto80 and Gary played the biggest festival in Sweden - Hultsfredsfestivalen. We were the first act of the festival, which was a bit strange. We did well though. Here’s a video of us performing the track Groovky Bitch (sid-file here). Note the usual screaming for videogame-music in the beginning (in this case it was Megaman).
