Tycho is song writer / producer Scott Hansen. After a string of underground offerings, Tycho's first widely available work was released: 2002's "The Science of Patterns". A 4 track EP, this early work laid the foundations for Tycho's now signature sound. In the year that followed, Tycho, along with Chachi Jones, Dusty Brown, Fruitbat, and Park Avenue formed the Command Collective, a group of musicians and visual artists who defined the electronic music scene of Sacramento, CA in the early 2000's.
