PUBLIC MARKS with tag microformats

Les 3 moteurs de recherche Google, Bing et Yahoo ont décidé de se regrouper pour créer un nouveau standard commun intitulé schema.org, à la manière du standard sitemaps.org.

The schema.org site makes it appear as if you must pick sides and use Microdata if you want preferential treatment. This is a false choice!

Le simple fait d’avoir son profil sur un réseau social professionnel n’est-il plus suffisant ? Pourtant ces services fournissent énormément d’information : membres appartenant à son réseau, éventuelles recommandations, centre d’intérêts via des participations à des groupes, etc.

Et si on a été suffisamment consciencieux pour remplir correctement tous les champs, ce fameux profil n’est alors ni plus ni moins qu’un CV. Avec des informations supplémentaires, certes. Mais un très bon CV quand même. Pourtant, j’ai vraiment l’impression qu’il faut aller au-delà aujourd’hui, principalement pour mieux contrôler sa réputation numérique.

A essayer bien sûr avec des sites, des blogs ou des textes plein de références géographiques...

I’m not seeing any special markup in the Facebook profile page, but could this be Google’s “Rich Snippets” feature in action, as announced at this year’s Searchology conference?
